Join us for "Lauds" aka Morning Prayer. Join a group of fellow believers as they open the Christian Prayer Book (provided) and pray out loud in a group the Divine Office's liturgy of the hours for morning prayer and sanctify the morning by praising God and offering the days' work.
Morning prayer consists of psalms, a reading from Scripture, hymns, and intercessions to consecrate the morning.
Purpose: its primary role is to start the day with praise, centering one's heart and mind on God.
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and 1st Saturday (all at 8:30 AM).
If you have never prayed the liturgy of the hours in a group session, don't worry, we have members who you can sit side by side with you and teach this powerful devotion.
The Knights of Columbus Council 6966 have commenced their "Food for Lent" Project until Easter Sunday. Donated food items will go to helping the poor in our community. All food items should be nonperishable, no glass containers, and not expired. Items should be dropped off in the large wooden bin in the back of the church. Thank you for your generosity!
