All are welcome to attend Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and silent prayer this Friday, December 6th from 6:00 - 7:00 PM.
This Saturday, December 7th is our First Saturday Devotion. Join us for morning Mass at 9:00 AM. Following Mass, we will say a rosary prayer and then gather in the Parish Center for a breakfast potluck while listening to a guest speaker. This month's topic is Jesus King of all Hears while also focusing on the time of Hope with the Jubilee Year ahead.
Teens in 6th - 12th grade are invited to join the Youth Group for their annual Gift of the Drummer Wrapping Party on Sunday, December 8th from 2:00 - 4:00 PM. We will wrap presents, have a sock exchange and enjoy some treats.
There will also be an optional field trip to the Carmelite Monastery to deliver their presents. We will leave for the monastery after all the presents are wrapped (around 4:30 PM) and return around 6:00 PM. Permission forms will be required for the field trip.
Please bring a NEW, unwrapped pair of FUN socks to exchange, a permission form (if going on the field trip) and your Christmas spirit!
Everyone is invited to join us on Monday, December 9th for our parish retreat. Our retreat will feature Confessions starting at 5:00 PM; we will gather for Mass to celebrate the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary then continue with Confessions after. You are invited to join us for Confessions before or after Mass. Father Ryan will also be giving a talk at the retreat.
This retreat will substitute for our Advent Penance Service.
On Saturday, December 14th the Diocese will be hosting their annual Advent Retreat at Blessed Sacrament Church from 9:00 AM - noon. This year's theme is "Preparing to become Pilgrims of Hope".
The schedule for the day will be:
Adults in the parish are invited to join us for our Adult Christmas Party on December 14th after the 5:00 PM Mass. It will be a potluck dinner with meat cooked by the Knights of Columbus. Adult parishioners are encouraged to bring their favorite dish to the party. We look forward to celebrating Christmas with you!
